Our Ward

Edmonton Public School Board Ward E includes parts of the new Council wards of Nakota Isga and Sipiwiyiniwak. Its Eastern boundary follows the meandering North Saskatchewan, stretching from Crestwood and Laurier to Riverview. Its Northern section, bounded by Stony Plain Road, includes Glenwood, West Jasper Place, Meadowlark and Elmwood before cutting down to encompass the neighbourhoods south of the Whitemud – from Granville to Westridge-Wolf Willow, from Edgemont to Cameron Heights, and from Stillwater to River’s Edge.

Ward E is on the very western edge of our city, pushing at the boundaries. It is a mosaic of mature neighbourhoods – the legacy of the old town of Jasper Place – and new, growing communities, and still undeveloped land set aside for families of the future.

Our ward represents 24 schools, which offer a range of programming including Arts Core, Science Inquiry, Cogito, Challenge (Gifted & Talented), Mandarin Bilingual, and faith-based instruction. The needs of our ward are varied and evolving alongside our communities, and are as diverse as the people who live and learn here.

Are we neighbours?
